I really like the option to have the drum spin multiple times at one time. It is a little difficult getting the door set to the right size opening so A TON of pellets don’t fall out. And the one time I used it while away I was sad to come home and a pellet was stuck in a way that completely blocked other food from falling in. Fortunately it was only two days and my turtle was fine. I’m going to try it out again. I always do a few test spins now to see how much is coming out and to watch it spin a few times to make sure nothing gets stuck.
Great for when I’m traveling so that my fish don’t go hungry. Instructions that were provided were a bit confusing but thanks to online videos I was able to figure out how to set the time. Just have to set to the current time first and then set time of day and how often for feeding. I wish there was an option to feed every other day. However, I’m only using it while I’m away.
This little device come in so handy during vacations or busy schedules. It can feed the right amount based on different schedules, up to 4 memory banks. Now I don’t need to worry to feed fishes anymore!
We tried this for the first time since we were going away for 8 days and didn’t want to bother anyone to take care of the fish while we were away. The portions are amazing and you can set the amount you would like to dispense. The fish was alive when we got back LOL
Instructions are clear. Easy to use. We went away for a whole week and the fishies were fine. Has a huge holder so you could probably use it for several weeks
Works perfectly. Use it on a 30 gallon tank with a couple of fish. Set it up to spin 3 times at 9am for a once a day feeding. I use flake food. Make sure it’s mounted high enough, couple inches, from water surface otherwise the humidity from the water could compromise the food. I see other people had reviews with that complaint. Left the tank unattended for 30 days and had no issues.
Easy to use, lots of options, loses battery life quickly.

Purchased 3 to put on our tanks while we were gone for a long weekend. Loved having up to 4 feeding times per day, and up to 3 full rounds of food each time. (Did NOT need that much, though!) Seemed to do great! I decided to leave them up so that we didn’t have to worry about feedings each day. After a few weeks (maybe 5?), it seemed that they stopped working. The battery life was low, but the display was on. You could hit the manual button to feed, and it worked. But after we noticed that it only sporadically fed at the scheduled times, we decided to take them down. The next time we are away from home, we will still use them, with fresh batteries, and put them up at least a day or two ahead of time to ensure they are working.

We were going to be out of town for 9 days and I couldn’t find anyone to take care of the fish. This worked great!
