    Not USB chargeable

    Rodger Craig

A little difficult to program, is not chargeable uses 2 AA batteries and only last a little more than a week with once a day feeding. Suddenly stops with no warning. After replacing the batteries, you have to reprogram again. I used quality batteries. For the week to 10 days, it works great.

Works well for going out of town for a few days.

    MultiTaskingMama3

I bought this feeder for our beta fish for when we go out of town for a few days. Makes it much simpler than having someone fish sit. It works well and is simple to program.

  5. Island Gem

    Good for pellets, not flakes

    Island Gem

This is good but only if you use pellets & not flakes. The flakes were fine at first but with multiple use they get stuck so they won’t come out and fish will starve.

    Mounting

    Todd

Fairly simple to use. Has the ability to set 4 different feeding times and adjust the amount fed. Wish it had a few other options to mount. You cant mount it if the tank is against the wall or such. It requires space .

  8. Pedro

Works well but had to adapt for micropallets food

    Pedro

“Works really well, I can easily set up on my guppies community tank up to 4 X day and I can set up also 1 or 2 or more rounds of release food # Careful about small foods! # I use 0.5 nutraspectrum micro pallets food so I had to open the minimum grade opening available BUT RELEASED WAY TOO MUCH FOOD… So I also had to use a tape to make even smaller the opening size and worked like a charm (try outside the tank first!)
just bear in mind that the battery that comes with the product last around 2 months. I just replaced with new Duracell now after that…”

    Works well. Worth the money.

“It’s a little tricky to figure out, but not too bad.
It does what it is supposed to do and works well so far. Wish I would have had this when I was in the hospital and no one could get in to feed my turtles.”

  10. J

    Inconsistent Amount of Food

    J

The feeder is nice and easy enough to use, however, I find the amount of food it drops each feeding to be wildly inconsistent. The first time it ran, it barely dropped any food. I opened the hatch another click or two and ran again and it dumped out WAY too much. If you get this be sure to try and get it dialed in outside of your tank and be sure to monitor a few feedings. May also help to break up flakes into more consistent size prior to loading into the feeder
