This is a great fish feeder, quiet and easy to set up. My only criticism would be that the portion size is a little big for a small aquarium. I had to put some tape on the hole to cut down on the amount of food dispensed.

The only negative i have about this product is that it’s big, so the only way to use it on your fish tank is to remove your lid, but besides that it’s great”
“Seems to work good. Not noisy, seems to have plenty of feeding time and quantity options. The only drawbacks are that the portion size control is just a sliding plastic window. Works fairly well, but it’ll have a lot of variability. Just like life I guess… And the programming is a pain in the butt as you’ve only got 4 buttons, and one of them is “”power””… hard to put a good interface together with just a few buttons. But it’s excellent for the price. Always have to consider what you pay for this crazy inexpensive stuff…”
Definitely check the feed door prior to putting it on the tank. I made that mistake and dumped a whole container of daphnia in my fishes tank.. Oops.. Other than that this is an absolutely great product. Feeding my Betta regularly has been a hassle because I work 11-12 hour days 6 days a week and spend very little time at home. I’m at ease having this product, I try my best to make the greatest and longest life span for my little blue Betta guy and this product is helping me achieve that, and I’m never worried about coming home to my fish dead from starvation so that’s definitely a solid plus on my review 😂 thanks
We used this for our big RES turtles for over a week.. It took some time to adjust it right.. The adjuster is so sensitive and funny.. Slot 3 wasn’t nearly enough but slot 5 was way too much.. Slot 4 was OK but I decided to do back to back feedings within a minute of each other, twice a day, (making that 4 total in a day) and I felt comfortable that they were eating enough.. I would suggest for sure to try it out a few days before you leave to ensure everything is to your liking… With the new tank they have, we had to use it as a stand instead of a clamp… We also used duck tape to ensure that it wouldn’t slide mid rotation… I noticed it was kind of shaky while turning and I didn’t like that.. I didn’t want it to fall in on my turtles… The duck tape did the trick.. I’ll update with pictures shortly
I wish the rotation was a little faster but overall, this was a great product and I recommend everyone to buy one. It’s easy to set up, does exactly what I need it to do (feed my fish at a certain time), and came with batteries!
“I have as headed out of town for a bit and did it want to hire someone just to feed my fish. I have a 75 gallon tank with about 25 fish. I knew I was taking a risk but I felt it was worth it. I run the tank on a regular schedule and the respond well. The tank has been established since the beginning of covid.
Programming the feeder was easy reading the direction about 4-5 times. I had a week before I needed to use it so I was back forth to set it up. I meant to set it up and watch it run for a couple of days but didn’t get that done. I watched one feeding and was gone.
It was used for two feeding cycles a day for ten days. No one starved or ate each other! The tank was as clear as I left it! Batteries were still working great and the feeder was rotating as I expected.
I have 4 large tanks that these were perfect for. I had to travel out if state for 5 days and didn’t have to stress about over feeding or coming home to fish that starved. I got a different brand for my 2 10g tanks because of the reviews about it not being good for small food portions but it worked well for my 2 goldfish tanks (125 and 75) my tropical tank (20) and my cichlid tank (45).
