I liked everything the setting were easy compared to the last feeder I bought. The turn off feature is a good thing as we only use these when we are away for several nights. Also the feed adjustment was so much simpler than the last and it holds more food. I like the rechargeable part also but will not keep plugged in all the time. Would give more stars if there was more

It may be difficult to get the quantity of food right where you want it, but the design and setup is wonderful. Easy to configure and hasn’t missed a feeding (that i know of). Easy to refill. Easy to configure. The rechargeable battery makes me feel better about the environment.

Was out for vacation for a week, was looking for one of this fish feeder earlier and finally I bought it. It’s working and doing it’s job, putting the right amount of fish food to my fishes. I just let it do its job now that I don’t feed the fish, I feed the fish feeder.

    Make life easier ever

“So far so good! It’s been using for twice a day for 5 weeks, still no need for charging the battery. Make my life easier than ever which is never needing to ask if family members feeding the fish yet or not. By the way, I just leave it free standing on top of the lid and it works fine without moving an inch.
I took one point of from easy use just because even follow the instructions, it still took me awhile to figure how to operate it correctly. The trick is after setting the time and how many drop time, u need to double hitting the set button to ensure the setting is reserved. Other than this complicated setting, it’s very easy to use.”

Burns up batteries. Hard to adjust for small portions.

    Ntaminotenoorri

“This feeder does it’s job, and quietly. However it is eating up batteries rapidly. So far, it uses a pair of AAA batteries about every two weeks.

Further, it is difficult to adjust the dispensing aperture for a small portion. I have a solitary middle-aged goldfish in a 29 gallon tank, so I don’t need to drop very much food in. I’m using Tetra goldfish variety pellets, which are a couple of millimeters in diameter.

It was necessary for me to close the aperture to the second notch, and then use scotch tape to further block the opening about 50%. With that, the portion is about right. For a larger tank with more fish, I suppose it would work better…”

Check the output before putting on tank.

    kathy fulkerson

Easy to use. Check the output of food before attaching. If using flake food, the more times it has rotated the smaller flakes become and more food will be dispensed.
